Camp Galeb is situated in Omis at a highly attractive location by the mouth of the river Cetina. With an area of 5 ha it is one of the largest Dalmatian campsites. Sport courts, sandy beach, the sea, friendly staff and a rich gastronomic offer make an ideal combination for your relaxation and entertainment.
Omis is a small town with a real mediterranean atmosphere at the mouth of the river Cetina. It is situated in the heart of Dalmatia, between the tourist centres Split (25 km) and Makarska (37 km).
Camping pitches are min. 70 sqm with electricity, wireless internet, water- and sewage hook-up, natural shade and sea view.
Besides accommodation on camping plots in different zones and other camping spaces we also provide for our guests accommodation in fully equipped mobile homes. Situated directly on a sandy beach 10 mobile homes offer a beautiful sea view and additonal 10 mobile homes are located in the second row from the sea, in natural shade.
Omgeving:
Omiš is a small town in the very heart of Dalmatia, situated on the left bank of the mouth of the Cetina river, which - forcing its way through the stone walls of the surrounding mountains – forms an impressive canyon opening a passage from the mainland to the Adriatic Sea. Such contrasts are rarely to be found elsewhere - by its mere location Omiš is already a true attraction of its own right.
It is situated only 21 km to the southeast of the biggest Dalmatian city – the city of Split, and given its central position it represents a prefect starting destination on the voyage to to discover the beauties of Dalmatia, its islands, its proud history, cultural heritage and natural wonders.
Aankomst:
You should take exit from highway Dugoplje Split and than it takes about 30 km driving the coast line just following the signs for camping Galeb and town of Omis. Camping is on the entrance to the town of Omis.
