I had a terrible experience in this campsite. We were there in a motorhome on April 11th. Our car got stuck in the grass (the parking area). There was no sign warning us we should not park there. It was not prepared for a motorhome. I called the owner and he hanged up the phone on my face! Through email, he said we should assume that we should not have parked over there. How could we assume that? We are from another country, and how should I assume I should not park IN THE PARKING AREA? The owners of the camping are responsible to maintain the ground in good condition. Well, we did not sleep there and he didn’t give our money back. We had to pay 40.000 ISK (296,00 USD) to tow the car and he refuses to refund me. To sum up, he doesn’t care for you, if you have any problem, you are on your own (he is not even in the country).
