Camping Auenland offers holiday and leisure relaxation for transit guests, permanent campers and visitors. The site is attractive due to its beautiful location in the nature reserve on the river Lahn. It lies at the foot of the Rimberg.
There are many walking and cycling paths that pass the campsite and invite you to activities. There is also the possibility to see a variety of native rare birds and flowers or to search for unusual (precious) stones in the Lahn.
Camping Auenland has a swimming pool, tennis courts (2 hardcort courts) and a children's playground. There is also a restaurant which is open all year round. Here you can eat and drink good plain food. The restaurant also has a cosy beer garden and a kiosk where you can buy ice cream and food. The restaurant and beer garden are also popular with cyclists and hikers from the near and far surroundings.
In addition to nature, the area offers historical and picturesque villages and medieval towns, such as Marburg (15 km.), Biedenkopf (10 km.) and Wetter (10 km.). All modern services are also available nearby.
