On our estate there is a flat grass-field, approximately one hectare in size that has 25 car-free pitches available for camping, under the trees or in the open field it's you who decides where to camp. The sanitary facilities are located in a new traditional built half-timbered house with sufficient warm showers [without coins], toilets, washing-stands and dish washing-stands. Toilet paper is supplied by us so you can leave your rolls at home. There are also a room for the disabled, an urinal, a baby-bath-corner and a tip-toilet. Electricity [euro sockets] at your tent is possible, but for the "real" campers with old fashioned cool-blocks a freezer is of-course available. Dirty laundry ? for a small amount you can have the machine do your wash. Next to the camping ground, there is a large area allocated for making a fire, (provided the weather has not been too dry for too long).

If you wish to come with more people, no problem. Many families/ groups do combinations like for example camping with B&B, caravan with holiday-house or cabin with B&B. If you do not feel like cooking, then join your hosts for a so called "table d'hôte", freshly prepared using vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden. Vegetarian, a hearty cyclist/hikers meal it can all be taken in account by us. If wished you can also enjoy our daily served sumptuous breakfast. The whole estate is available for you to enjoy with among others pool, terrace, playing field with chalet, a volleyball-field, a goal, a piste de petanque, a trampoline, seats in the sun or shade, picnic tables, a sandpit, swings and a permanent barbecue. In the morning you can walk to the bakery (50 meters) to get oven fresh baguettes, banets or croissants. Around the corner you'll also find a good butcher/ traitteur, a grocery, a café with terrace and a small restaurant at the port.

Omgeving:
Our country estate is situated on the border of the rural village Gannay sur Loire in the far north of the Auvergne region, and is only a stone's throw, from the beautiful regions of Morvan and Bourgogne. On the days when guests would just like to relax and un-wind, then the perfect solution is to stay on the estate. We have a large swimming pool, playing field plus chalet, a volleybalfield, a goal, a piste de petanque, a trampoline, terraces where you can sit in the sun or shade, picnic tables and two permanent barbecues. For young children we also have a sandpit and swings. There are bicycles available for hire and we organise kayak tours on the river Loire. The beautiful and quiet surroundings are perfect for cycling or walking. The famous Loire is a short walk from the estate, and guests can swim, fish, canoe or just relax by the riverbanks. On the other side of the village there is a canal that runs parallel with the Loire, here guests will find a yacht club and restaurant. If guests would prefer to be more actively entertained there is a large amusement-animal park within a half hour's driving. However if history, beautiful buildings and exploring interests you, then we are perfectly situated for visits to the picturesque cities of Bourbon-Lancy, Decize, Autun, Nevers or Moulins and also villages that have magnificent historical buildings, castles, churches, museums, gardens, etc. Within a half hour traveling distance lies the city of Nevers with her famous cathedral and palaces. Definitely worth a visit are Bribracte [a Gallic settlement], 'Fôret de Troncais'[the oldest oak forest in Europe], Apremont [listed as one of the most beautiful vilages of France], Arboretum "Balaine" [the biggest privat botanical garden of France] and the fort of Bourbon L'archambault.
