Surrounded by woods, the campsite is situated on a meadow and partly in a clearing directly at the Großer Pälitzsee. It is approved for motorboats and has connections to the other waters (federal waterways). For water hikers the site is therefore an ideal starting point and stopover.
The course is situated north of a huge contiguous forest area, which extends in southern direction far behind Rheinsberg.
