The wooden cottages on stilts at Camping des Etangs provide an unusual stay in a protected nature area near to Le Marais Vernier.
Each cottage can accommodate four to six people and comes fully equipped with bedroom, bathroom, lounge area, kitchen, entrance area and a balcony on stilts, complete with an uninterrupted view across the lakes of des Etangs.
You can expect to spot a huge variety of flora and fauna including migratory birds such as herons, great egrets and grebes, as well as dragonflies and fish.
The autoroute guide takes you towards Le Havre across river using A29. This is the easiest way. You could go through Rouen, but not so easy. It worthwhile to pay about 6 € for the Normandy bridge, which is very beautiful.
