We are a peaceful family run campground short before Mostar, directly at the river Buna with a beautiful view of the mountains. We are locals and know the area very well and are happy to supply you with information about all the interesting sights close by.
Interesting places you shouldnt miss, are Mostar (5 min by car, 15-20 min by bike), Pocitelj, Blagaj, Medjugorije, waterfall Kravice, Mogorijelo and there is Hutovo blato, a natural resort park as well as the Medieval necropolis at Radimlja.
You can go swimming in the river, rent kayaks close by or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape all around the camp.
The camp is simple (we try to keep things as natural as possible) and has space for around 40 campers as well as tents. We have a small kitchen with cookers, oven, 2 fridges and all the kitchen utensils you will need. There are four toilets and showers that are cleaned on a daily basis. There is electricity connection and Wifi all over the camp ground as well as there is a water connection for your campers.

The River Camp - Half Island is located in the village Buna, in the south of Mostar. After you turned off from the main road M17 (coming from Mostar turn off left / coming from Croatia turn off right), keep always to your right. Left hand you will see a petrol station, as well as the catholic church. Directly after passing by the church, before the bridge, turn to your right and follow the camp signs. You pass by the Buna Mosque, before you reach our camp.
