Camp Klenovica
Our camp in Klenovica has been open for guests for almost 30 years now, and covers an area of about 12 ha (30 acres). Located by the sea, with a long pebble beach, the camp is an ideal place for a family holiday or an active holiday. Guests of our camp can choose among the accommodation in tents and camper vehicles the accommodation in mobile houses, as well as the accommodation in the rooms.
Within the camp there are a supermarket, an à-la-carte restaurant called ‘Ribarska koliba’ and an exchange office within the reception desk. For the youngest ones, the entertainment in a children's playroom is provided, too. The camp also offers boat trips along the Kvarner bay and the islands, as well as organized excursions to nearby national parks – the North Velebit, Risnjak, Plitvice , etc. An sanitary block meets the basic needs of a large number of guests fully and without any kind of disturbance.
Camping
Camp is not divided into plots, which provides guests with more freedom in choosing the position they like, and thus a more comfortable stay. The surface of camping sites varies between 40 and 60 m2, depending on the size of camper vehicles, camp trailers or tents. All sites are equipped with connections to electricity. The water supply is carried out in the sanitary block. The camp positions nearest to the sea are located about 20 m away from it, while the farthest distances from the sea are up to 200 m away.
Mobile houses
Within the camp we also offer accommodation in mobile houses that have become a great hit in the modern tourism. The houses are fully furnished and suited for the vacation in nature.
The capacity is 5 persons per house; all houses are air-conditioned and have a wonderful panoramic view of the Kvarner Bay. The house area is 24 m2 and each one consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining room and a bathroom. Every house has a terrace with a set of a table and chairs, protection from the sun and a parking spot. Distance from the sea is about 150 m.
Rooms
In our camp there is a pavilion object, too, with rooms offering accommodation for 2-4 people. Each room has its own bathroom and a refrigerator for keeping food. Some rooms have a sea view, and distance from the beach is about 150 m.
Klenovica
Klenovica is a quiet fishing village located in the southern part of the Kvarner Bay between the towns of Novi Vinodolski and Senj. Primarily, it is ideal for a family holiday, and for those who are looking for some peace and relaxation.
The village is located next to the Adriatic Highway, so it is easily accessible if you are arriving from both Istria and Dalmatia, while another plus is the closeness of the highway at the junction of Žuta lokva (37 km away).
Regarding the tourist attractions in Klenovica, there is a camp and the apartments, several restaurants, supermarkets, a bakery, a post office and a church are at your disposal. At the entrance to the village, there is also a petrol station. Regarding the events held during the summer season, the so-called fishing festivals are the most popular and they complete the tourist offer of the village.
Nearby Klenovica, there are several national parks, which make it an even more attractive destination for holidays. These are the National parks of the North Velebit (45 km away), Risnjak (60 km away), the Plitvice Lakes (113 km away), Paklenica (126 km away).
An outstanding quality of Klenovica is also a beautiful pebble beach and clear seawater permeated with the springs of fresh water that comes through the groundwater flows down from the mountains. Slightly more to the North, above Klenovica, there are picturesque hiking trails for those seeking recreation and active relaxation.
