The recreational facility "Camp am Mühlenbach" is located in a natural, approx. 100,000 sqm large forest and heath area. The pitches (from 150 sqm) are partly parcelled out and divided by bush and fir hedges.
The site is comfortably equipped with a children's playground, a football field and several ponds, which offer fishing opportunities for hobby anglers.
During the summer months you can swim to your heart's content in the campground's own bathing lake. There are separate electricity and water connections for each pitch. Adjacent to the campsite is a hotel and restaurant. The site has 100 touring pitches and 240 permanent pitches and is open all year round. Close to the campsite there are sights such as Heide-Park Soltau, the Soltau-Therme, the toy museum and the nature reserve Lüneburger Heide.
The city of Soltau (approx. 22,000 inhabitants) in the immediate vicinity (5 km) offers extensive shopping and recreational opportunities as the middle centre of the Soltau-Fallingbostel district.
