Our 4-star camping Ourtal-Idyll is situated in the South Eifel nature park, about 4km from Vianden (Lux.). Gentingen itself is a small farming village with about 60 inhabitants surrounded by a lot of woods and meadows.
We are a family business of medium size and value a quiet and friendly atmosphere.
Due to the location of our campsite directly at the border to Luxembourg, there are many possibilities for sightseeing in the surrounding area, such as Vianden with its wonderfully renovated castle, the picturesque little towns of Echternach, Diekirch, Clervaux and Luxembourg.
Also Trier, the oldest city in Germany with the many Roman buildings should be visited.
A trip to the Moselle is a must for wine lovers, beer drinkers will be more attracted to Bitburg where our famous Bitburger Pils is brewed.
A visit to the Vulkaneifel with the Maaren and the Vulkanium is also an experience.
